I ordered on a Wednesday expecting for it to hopefully arrive by Friday and it arrived Thursday morning!! Brilliant. The chair is very nippy! I moved around the Bullring Birmingham on 3 bars for 6 hours.
I have just experienced above and beyond customer service from Etech. A month ago I purchased their electric wheelchair for my wife. When it arrived I was very impressed by the sturdiness of the chair and its operational simplicity. It was ordered in advance of the delivery of a new motorhome and the intention was to carry it on a wind down carrier attached to the rear of the vehicle. When it arrived I discovered that the rack would have to be mounted high up and I would not be able to lift it that high.
A couple of email exchanges with Shabz and it was arranged that the wheelchair could be returned, even though it was well out of the 14 day return policy, and a lightweight mobility scooter would be supplied in replacement.
My visit there was a pleasant, smooth experience and I am extremely expressed with their empathy to the situation.

I organised a viewing of power chairs for my elderly parents. The sales advisor Kasim was wonderful, explained the ranged and how they worked and spent time getting to know my parents needs. At the end of the trial Kasim was honest and said that their products weren't right for the needs of my parents so could recommend them purchasing one. Ordered an electric wheelchair for my wife, ordered Wednesday evening and spoke to Sef at 10.30 next day to explain we wouldn’t be there on the following Tuesday to accept delivery because of appointments, he said no problem we’ll dispatch today, and true to his word it turned up on Friday with FEDEx delivery and the guy was great couldn’t have been more helpful.
Unboxing no problem and getting it ready, only problem was syncing the remote, it Ewa a completely different one than in the handbook, so on to YouTube to find the same remote and all sorted.
Wife hasn’t tried it yet but I did in the garden and it seems excellent machine nice tight turning circle in its own width “ish”, joystick is sensitive but she’ll get used to it.
Overall experience is excellent. Did have to purchase a set of ramps from another company to help load into the car, I’m 72 and couldn’t risk injuring myself as I wouldn’t be any good to my wife.

does thus require an additional joy stick controller or can the user one simply be transferred as and when required

No additional joystick controller is required. The existing joystick on the armrest can be transferred and attached to the bracket on the backrest for easy use.
Hi there, it can handle kerbs up to a maximum height of 3 inches (around 7.5 cm). For kerbs higher than this, it’s best to approach them cautiously or avoid them if possible, as going over taller kerbs may impact stability.
